We offer manual and automatic lessons, refresher sessions, intensive and semi-intensive courses, and advanced driver development. And if you need something more specialised, just ask — if we can’t help, we’ll point you to someone who can.

Can I start lessons right away?
Give me a call or send me a message and I’ll confirm my availability. If I have a cancellation I may be able to get you booked in right away. Remember that you will need to have a valid provisional license before we can get on the road. Check the gov.uk website for more information on rules for learning to drive.
How much do you charge for driving lessons?
Our prices start at £45 per hour for driving lessons. If you block book 10 lessons in advance, this comes down to £43 per hour. Check out our prices page for a full breakdown.
Which areas do you cover?
We can take manual or automatic lessons across the whole of Torbay including: Totnes, Newton Abbot, Paignton and Torquay.
What will we cover in our driving lessons?
We’ll cover car controls, junctions, roundabouts, manoeuvres, dealing with complex road systems, dual carriageways, motorway driving, country driving and town driving.
You’ll also learn how to use Mirror Signal Manoeuvre in all aspects of driving. I can also provide tools to help you prepare for your Theory Test.
I’m nervous about learning to drive, will you laugh or shout at me?
No, I will never raise my voice to or laugh at one of my students. I hope to be laughing with you. We will take lessons at your own pace so you feel comfortable and can build up your confidence behind the wheel over time.
I’m dyslexic/autistic/anxious, can you help me learn to drive?
If you want to learn, I will help you. We’ll work together. You tell me what works best for you and together we will find a solution. There is no ‘one size fits all’ in learning to drive.
My son/daughter needs everything repeated twice, can you help them learn to drive?
Yes. It doesn’t matter how many times I have to repeat or explain things. I will find a way of getting you to understand so you can pass your driving test with confidence.
